It’s always so funny to meet clients who have been following along my journey for years, I feel like they know everything about me while I hardly know anything about them! When Susie and Ricsi decided to celebrate their 7 year anniversary together in Barcelona, Susie turned our one sided relationship into a conversation and long story short in a few weeks we were frolicking around the Parc Guell taking anniversary pictures for them! Thank you guys for letting me capture a slice of your vacation in this awesome city of mine! Hope to see you again soon! 😉
Archives for December 2012
I was fortunate enough to work with several photographers over the summer, but one of my favorite second shooting experiences was Emma and Charlie’s wedding with Jeremy Standley. Jeremy is a true wedding industry veteran with countless awards in his pocket, a portfolio of amazing weddings and breathtaking images and more experience than any other photographers I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. It was an honor just to be chosen by him to second shoot some of his Barcelona weddings, but his openness, willingness to help and guidance proved more valuable than my semester in photo school and I’ll be forever thankful to him. He is challenging, firm (but fun ;)) and has a no nonsense attitude which pretty much makes him the perfect mentor for me! 😉
Emma and Charlie got married in Sitges (a few kilometers outside of Barcelona) and celebrated in Almiral de la Font, a gorgeous private villa with their friends and family, most of whom flew in all the way from the UK. Their wedding was full of charm and small details that made the day very memorable, starting with their intimate ceremony in the tiniest little hillside church followed by their hillarious reception with the funniest groomsmen and finished with an awesome party with a live band (that Emma found in a club on her bachelorette party in Mallorca :)).
Thank you so much Jeremy for sharing this experience with me! I had a blast and I hope to rock many more wedding with you next summer! 😉
