Gypsy Bride Editorial

I have been planning to do a Gypsy bridal session ever since I became a photographer. Some projects come easy and just fall into place instantly while others, like this one, test my patience, perseverence and organizational skills on a major level. However I do believe that nothing worth having comes easy and I’m absolutely thrilled and ecstatic that after months of planning and preparations I’ve found the perfect team to work with and my gypsy bridal editorial has been published today in Tendencias de Bodas (page 126), Spain’s largest online wedding magazine. A gigantic thank you to everyone who has collaborated to bring this project into fruition, Esther from Boda Bella for prop styling, Meri for hair and make up, the gorgeous Nathalia from Fleming Models for being my perfect gypsy princess, Urban Plant for the gorgeous flowers and YolanCris and Otaduy for the breathtaking gowns and accessories. THANK YOU a million times over. I feel privileged to have been able to work with you all. Please check out the magazine and my lovely vendors and enjoy a few unpublished images here on the blog. Oh Happy Day! ;)

Gypsy Bridal Shoot Inspiration Board

Some shoots develop organically and get planned and organised without a flaw. My gypsy bridal shoot is NOT one of those… I’ve been planning this shoot for months and months and after various reschedules and issues I’m finally happy to say that I’m shooting this story today! and may I say… some things are worth waiting for! ;) I have a fabulous team that I’m excited to work with, the perfect model, wedding dresses and accessories to die for from some of my favorite designers and some props that fit the theme perfectly. I’ll be hiding away in the forest working on one of my most exciting shoots to date today, so wish me luck. Sneak peek coming verrrrry soon!

Bikinis & Passports – Lifestyle Session in Vienna

Last week, on a whirlwind trip to Vienna I visited my gorgeous friend Vicky between two shoots (the cool chick behind the fab lifestyle/fashion blog Bikinis & Passports). She took me to an überhip outside resturant/chillout bar by the river Danube, where we chatted about life, love and travels. As we were heading home, the beautiful golden sun was just setting on the horizont and I couldn´t help snapping a few pictures of this extraordinary lady. ;) I met Vicky through the blog world a few years ago and we´ve been friends ever since. (You may remember these shots I took of her last year). I´m so thankful for the internet and all the connections and new friends I got to make through this wonderful medium. It´s the coolest thing to know that I have a couch to crash and a friend waiting with open arms in almost all countries of Europe. Euro life (and especially my friends) rock!

Vicky u´re stunning, I die for your cute freckles and killer style and I cannot wait the day I can photograph your wedding! ;D C U SOON!!!!

Lifestyle Portraits in Barcelona | Ana Sting Part One

Ana is no stranger  to this blog as I´ve shot her several times in the past already (see here). She is a fabulous fashion blogger/stylist who asked me to collaborate with her for shooting for her blog. It´s tremendous fun to photography someone as stylish and as sure of herself as Ana. She sure knows how to work it and I´m happy I could contribute to her gorg blog. As we shot so many fierce outfits I decided to break them up in to two separate posts, so keep your eye on part two coming muy pronto!

If I was a Bride…

I’m sure that one of the most exciting part of wedding planning, apart from choosing the right photographer and the perfect venue :) , must be choosing your dream wedding dress! Let’s admit it, we’ve been all dreaming about dressing up as a princess on our big day ever since we were toddlers. Even though I’m not married (and not even close to be honest :) ) I do love to fantasize about where would I get married (on a beach for sure!), who would be my dream photographer (Jose Villa!) and how my wedding dress would look like….

Currently I’m coveting the above dresses from some of my favorite wedding designers! (Yolan Cris is my absolute favorite right now!). If you are married already how was your wedding dress? If you’re already planning your big day or you’re just planning your imaginary wedding like me :) what kind of dress would you choose?
