Here we go with my weekly photography tips and tricks. (if you missed the previous posts you can check part one about shooting through a window and part two about back lighting) Today I wanted to talk a bit about how choosing different, unusual perspectives can add that little extra to your images. I personally love to shoot from above by placing my clients on the ground. I find that these pictures are flattering and unique and some of my favorites of my clients! The only thing to be careful is to instruct your subjects about stretching their necks so you would avoid the dreaded double chin. It’s not the most comfortable of positions I know, but it is always worth the little extra effort. Go try it out this weekend.
