I had such an amazing weekend! Barbeque with friends, sangria filled late night outs, long walks through the city… spring is definitely in the air and my spirits couldn’t be higher! I thought I’d start the week off on the blog with another very easy but really impactful trick I like to incorporate into my photo shoots. By using reflective surfaces, mirrors, glass walls… etc. you can create interesting images by varying your focus and blurring out details and sharpening in on the reflection. It takes a bit of practice (or manual focusing) to be able to focus on reflections, but it’s really fun and the results are always beautiful. Go play with it!

Great tip.
These photos are so beautiful! My favorites: 2,3,10.
About two months ago I posted a photo taken by my niece Hana (I really love her sense of photography. She is only 15.) and there she used reflective surface – windowsill.
I love that photo!

p.s. – Nice to hear about signs of spring around you!
WOAHHH! Love these reflections shots! So neat!
My photos always look a little awkward when trying to incorporate a mirror into them but I will definitely try out some of the ideas pictured above! Thank you for sharing your pro tips!
