From Barcelona with Love…

One of the evident advantages of being a wedding photographer is having awesome photographer friends with whom you can play around from time to time behind and IN FRONT of the camera. I’ve had many photos taken of me in the past, but I’ve never really had an actual “session” scheduled before, so it was definitely an interesting adventure to experience a photo shoot from “the other side”. IT’S HARD! What, where, how…. awww!

Both Jess  (my über-cool photographer friend from Jessica Quadra Photography) & I wanted a few new pics for our websites so we had lots of fun planning out what to do exactly! After a little vodka drinking brainstorming session we’ve decided to do part of our shoot on the beach of Barceloneta. I love this place as I live just around the corner, this is where I go running, working out and it´s also one of my favorite places to do love shoots. There is a certain vibe here which embodies everything that Barcelona is about for me… the coolness, the easiness, the freedom, the people from all over the world…. No matter how often I come down to watch the waves I always feel so so lucky to live here!
