Some weddings are worth waiting for and Christine and Xabi’s are certainly main contenders for this category! 🙂
I “met” Christine years before her big day though the big wide online world. Her blog, Christine in Spain is easily one of the most popular expat lifestyle blogs in Spain and as a fellow expat myself living in Spain we connected online and before I knew it, I was boarding a plane to San Sebastian to photograph her wedding in her new home town in Basque land, Lekeitio to her handsome now hubby Xabi.
I can only speak in superlatives about this wedding, apart from the obvious supermodel looks, fab seaside location and beautiful details they are also some of the kindest most welcoming people I was fortunate to photograph. You know it’s gonna be a good wedding when mom and dad greets you with a big bear hug and you leave feeling like you made new friends who you trying to convince to move to Barcelona just to be closer!!! 🙂
Christine planned her wedding with immaculate sensitivity to colours and details, about which she talks more about on Fly Away Bride where their wedding is gracing the first page today.
Thank you so much for letting me tell your story through my images, you made me fall in love with the Basque country and I’ll be forever thankful for that! 🙂
