I have been a big fan of the Sharkpig wedding films for years, their unconventional, cool and different videos remind me of some super cool pop video clips, the kind that I’d love to have if I’d ever get married. As worldwide wedding industry heavyweights I never really thought I’d get the chance to work with them, until one warm day in Ibiza a guy showed up on one of my weddings, with a super 8 camera and a shark pig sticker on it. Naive little me immediately asked him if he is a fan of them as well and from behind his shy smile Geoff just said… well, I am one of the shark pigs! 🙂 After picking up my jaw from the floor we spent the next 2 days working hand in hand, together and in perfect synergy for our clients (btw this was one of my favourite weddings of 2013… cannot wait to show you soon! :)). One of the best professional experiences I’ve had so far in my little career. Talking about life, travels, weddings, videos and pictures, Geoff made me curious about the world of cinematography and a seed of an idea was planted.
A few weeks later coincidentally I met someone who wanted to shoot videos with me and we decided to play around and try our feet in wedding videography (all the filming credit goes to Mark!). At the moment filming is more of a personal than a professional project for me… as creatives I believe that we always have to stretch ourselves, get out of our comfort zones and try new things, but who knows, maybe its something that I might start offering as part of En Route in the near future. Without further ado, please allow me to present my very first En Route wedding video! 🙂 What do you guys think of it? 🙂 eeeeee I’m so excited to finally share this!!!
P.S: All my gratitude goes to Carole from Marry Me in Spain for giving us the opportunity to film A&As beautiful wedding day, and of course to my beautiful bride and groom… thank you so much for trusting us and giving us the chance and freedom to capture your wedding in motion. It’s been an amazing experience so thank you from the bottom of my heart!
