Miguel Varona has been one of my favorite Spanish wedding photographers for a while now (it’s actually a very funny story how we met that I’ll have to tell you one day! ;)), so when I heard that he is coming to Barcelona to do a workshop on Fine Art Wedding photography I knew I just had to be there to finally meet him! We spent 2 jam packed days with Miguel, Carles and the other participants learning about film photography, touching and feeling some of my dream cameras, printing on lux papers and on the second day, shooting an engagement session.
When Nicholas and Marina showed up at the MACBA (Museum of Arts), our location for the shoot my jaw literally dropped. Rarely do I come across a couple with such incredible style! They did not only look the part but played it as well. Perfectly cool, composed and such fun to photograph! Thank you Nicholas & Marina for not getting scared of the hoard of photographers running after you!!! 😉 You ROCKED!!!
Gigantic virtual hugs to my fellow attendees, it was so much fun and inspiration to meet you all and thank you Miguel and Carles for an incredible two days…. I’m convinced…. I have to start saving my pennies for a proper medium format film camera! 😉
What an adorable couple and I love the styling and props!
