I had a wedding last night. A wedding that reignited my soul, a wedding that felt so easy so good, so beautiful I had goose bumps along the way. A wedding I had to shoot through my tears after the heart wrenchingly beautiful wedding vows. Sometimes I feel like such a cliche for thinking everything is awesome and amazing and ‘how I love my job’ etc but you have to forgive me… I am not a writer although I am a storyteller, a photographer and a true lover of weddings. You wanna hear another cliche… I LOVE LOVE LOVE my job and couldn’t feel more fortunate to be able to do what I LOVE, at places I love, with vendors I love for clients I adore…. last night is a story to tell another day, but last night reminded me of how I felt on Eti and Francois wedding…. truly happy. Same location, different story, same camera….. As I am approaching my 100th wedding I can say I’ve been fortunate to do all kinds of weddings by now… from big chateau weddings to small elopements from San Francisco to Paris and all the way around Cataluna but Eti & Francois’ wedding was one that most resembled the wedding I’d want to have… relaxed, too cool, beautiful, spent with the closest family and friends full of hugs, laughter and great music… so much great music and dancing and joy!
I think I have a wedding hangover and feel overly emotional, but this afternoon I felt like I had to share another little snippet of my beautiful job, so here I present you the awesomely cool and beautiful Masia Ribas wedding of Eti and Francois… a turkish bride, french husband and an international big bang awesomeness of a wedding… enjoy. x
